Camp Ashmere - Our Piece of Heaven Here on Earth
Almost 100 years ago, a group of men from our church had a vision of a Christian Camp. Today, the ministry of Camp Ashmere continues, but not without a struggle. While hundreds of children pass through it's gates each summer, increasing camping regulations, increasing costs, and challenging staffing issues all lead to Camp Ashmere's future hanging in the balance. WE NEED YOU!!

Please check out Ashmere's website, listed below, and take a look at all that is going on there. We continue to host day campers, overnight campers, leadership groups, retreats and more. Our Camp Director Justin Lawrence and the Camp Committee are putting together a great staff and planning the summer program based on the Kingdom Community.
Camp continues to need support - both physical and financial - and we hope you'll consider a donation of your time or money to it's continued success. Camp also has a facebook page that you can join to keep up with the latest news and events.

Next Meeting - Saturday March 9th at 10:30am at the church
Steps are being taken to enhance Ashmere's program, increase the pool of volunteers, and better connect with alumni through the formation of a booster club. At the initial meeting, the structure will be established, projects developed and handed out, and the year's agenda and schedule formed. Anyone interested can contact the church office.
