Worship Audio and Video
We are working hard to have worship audio and video up on the website for you. Most weeks, you can find the current week's audio here and the past week's video here. Past services are also available. Great to share with friends or if you miss a week! Enjoy!
Introducing... We Walk!
You all know that our church mission statement is Jesus Calls, You Come, We Walk. It's wonderful that so many new faces are coming First Baptist, and now we need to get walking!
Starting the first day of Spring, March 21st, First Baptist is going to start moving! This is how it will work: Anyone who wants to walk each evening will meet at the front of the church at 5:55pm. We will walk together for 30 minutes (or less). There will be a short loop and a longer loop. A great chance for some exercise before a 6:30pm meeting or choir rehearsal. No need to sign up - just show up any night you'd like and join in - 7 days a week. Whoevery shows up walks together in fellowship! Vacation Bible School PlanningSave the dates! Evenings August 5th-9th! We are looking for 15-20 volunteers to assist with teaching, crafts, games, snacks etc. There is a sign up sheet at the Information Station -- we need to know NOW if we can pull this off! You can also call the church office to add your name to the list of helpers. Thanks!

Fall Foliage Parade Float TeamAfter winning first place for floats last year, many have been hoping that we will again enter a float into the parade this year. We will need many who are willing to pitch in and help - probably not until July - but keep this ministry in mind as the summer starts. Speak to Pastor Dave if you might be interested. An organizational meeting will be announced sometime soon.
Downtown Events Team
Our hope it to connect and get involved in the various happenings in town this summer and beyond. The two big events coming up are the Beach Night on Eagle Street and the Mayor's Downtown Celebration.
An organizational meeting for all interested in helping with this outreach will be Thursday, June 6th at 6:30pm. |
